The Swedish company, Calderys Nordic, consists of companies in Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway and sales in the Baltic countries. Calderys Nordic factories and production facilities are located in Höganäs and Åmål. Yearly about 60 000 tons of refractory products are produced at Calderys Nordic production facilities. At factories, there are also laboratories for testing and quality control. Calderys Nordic has a total of 250 employees, sales of SEK 950 million, of which the Swedish part SEK 630 million (140 employees) in 2016.
About the role:
To cost-effectively control the maintenance process with preventive maintenance, direct actions and project management in accordance with laws, regulations, Imerys and Caldery’s internal routines and standards to ensure availability in production. The purpose of the employment is to cost-effectively, safely and constantly improve the production process.
The goal is to work preventively instead of reactive with maintenance and monitored monthly with the MOS file as a KPI for the maintenance process.
Lead and distribute tasks for reporting staff and hired approved suppliers in accordance with our supplier’s program.
Daily reporting to Industrial Manager and inform Production Manager. Summon for weekly scheduling / purchase planning between production and maintenance for update and assignment of tasks. If necessary, plan together with maintenance stop in production for planned repairs.
As maintenance manager, ensure that the machinery is available for production. Maintain and develop the maintenance process (Operational System / Maintmaster) by ensuring that personnel are trained and using the maintenance systems.
Responsible of the safe performance of maintenance work both for permanent and other staff. Ensuring obligated inspection of devices and documentation.
Responsible for fire protection and fire- and evacuation alarm. Project management of investments. Financial- and budget monitoring.
Trained engineer (Msc or equivalent)
